Sending this to you as an old Thomian myself.....to give you a little insight into the passion that drives the game in Sri Lanka.

St Thomas College, Mount Lavinia, (by the sea just outside Colombo) was founded in 1851, and early into the video you will get a brief view of my school, the one with the grey classical buildings. The first building is the laboratory block and the second is the chapel, diametrically across the main quadrangle. The Royal College main building follows and has the college colours draped across the frontage for the occasion. During WWll the STC buildings were taken over by the Allied Far East Command and used as the main recuperation hospital for injured personnel, and was included in the film, Bridge over River Kwai. During a Japanese attack on Ceylon, a Jap aircraft shot down crashed into one of the smaller school buildings on the periphery. Enjoy.....
