Dear Sriyan
I am very sad to know that RM is no more. He was a fine Thomian cricketer and later played a lot of club cricket for Moratuwa Sports Club.
May His Soul Rest in peace

Sriyan
Thanks for the note informing us of the passing away of R M F We were team mates and as a fellow train traveller to College Me from Lunawa and RM from Angulana we were good friends as well
RM captained College in 1961 and not 1962 as you mention 1962
Captain was Keith Labrooy
Was RM sickthis is indeed shocking and indeed sad news

R. M.
The ultimate gentleman.
A Left Hand Batsman, oozing with class.
To me, the most stylish batsman ever to don the Blue and Black.
He will rest in peace, because he did not offend anyone.
